Club Intrigue is all about community, making relationships everywhere we go for the greater good of education. As we continue our national tour, we are taking some long-time friends with us to meet some of the amazing industry professionals on the west coast of Spokane, Washington!

With over thirty years of experience in hair and styling, Nick Arrojo is the owner of three successful salons in NYC and has become a modern paragon of the industry. His signature razor-cutting technique is taught, recognized and practiced worldwide. It is part of a modern and creative, precision-based hairdressing method pioneered by Nick himself, and is designed to create fashion-forward, textured, wearable hair for clients, while offering creative freedom and versatility to stylists. This technique is something every artist can benefit from mastering as a technique offered in client consultation and styling.

Sonna Brado is what we think of when we hear the phrase triple-threat! As KMS California Artistic Team Director, a 2014 NAHA winner and an award-winning salon owner, we can believe her when she says she loves education and teaching other people. The passion, knowledge and precision she brings to her classes have earned her a reputation for offering some of the best training available. Sonna continues to regularly work behind the chair and brings a unique perspective to her presentations addressing both the artistic and business sides of the profession. Sonna brought tremendous insight and wisdom to our recent Club Intrigue: Pro-Panorama event, and we look forward to continuing to learn from her talent and experience.

Douglas McCoy is a 26 year veteran of the Hair industry. Learning with some of the masters from Vidal Sassoon and Bumble and Bumble and R+Co then backstage at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, Douglas has proven himself through inspiration and desire to improve his craft. Photographers began collaborating with Douglas, finding his education invaluable to further their own work. Douglas became comfortable on both sides of the lens and a collective was formed called "House of POp" for this group of artistic minded individuals. Under House of POp they create media that serves to elevate the craft and create a home and brand for all involved. To Douglas, the craft means everything and bringing something new and exciting is an imperative.

Douglas's editorial work has been featured in hairbrained.me, American Salon Magazine,The Hairnerds, Spokane CDA Living, Muse and the Mode, The Inlander, Esthetica, and Redchocolate. Douglas is also a 5 season veteran of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week and is a three time winner at the Hairbrained Video Awards.

Lastly, but certainly not the least, we have the pleasure of welcoming the one and only, George Alderete. With over two decades of experience in the beauty industry, George Alderete has established himself as one of the foremost hair colorists in the country. He has performed at hundreds of educational events across the United States and around the globe, sharing with fellow salon professionals the latest techniques in coloring. George's learner-friendly approach to teaching has made him one of the most requested hair color educators.

An accomplished editorial stylist, George's work has graced the covers and pages of leading beauty publications around the world. A three-time finalist for the North American Hairstylist Award, he continues to be an inspiration to everyone who comes in contact with his message. We will have that very opportunity to learn from him as well as the rest of our amazing guests artists.
